ebay is so dumb

I sold a few things on ebay 3 months ago. There was a dispute over one of the sales I was paid for, and I was waiting for a reply from eBay to credit the commissions on the unsold item. But eBay never got back to me.

This week I logged on to bid on something, and my account was suspended.... because their automated system showed I still owed ebay itself *62* cents!?

Ok, fine, I'll pay the 62 cents. It's not worth fighting over. Odd they didn't bother to notify me; I get all their ad emails and other stuff.

So I try to pay with my credit card. It's refused.... because eBay's system doesn't allow payments for under $1.00!! Customer support had no idea how to help and told me to "email in my question".

So now I can't bid, I can't get them to reply to any of my inquiries, and I can't pay the past-due 62 cent balance. Does this make any sense to anyone? lol

Yeah, they have a lot of problems. You could mess with them some by paying $1 and then ask them to email you a check for the 38 cents credit they owe you. ....
